El módulo básico de OPC Router es el núcleo de toda la plataforma. Proporciona un entorno para la configuración, la gestión de flujos de datos, la programación de tareas, las operaciones matemáticas y lógicas, así como la visualización de las comunicaciones. Al módulo básico solo necesita añadir los módulos plug-in y add-on necesarios según los sistemas que desee conectar.
Con OPC Router puede conectar PLC, bases de datos, servicios en la nube, sistemas MES, ERP, impresoras, lectores RFID y otros sistemas OT/IT. Los datos no solo pueden transferirse entre estos sistemas, sino también filtrarse, transformarse, procesarse mediante cálculos o ampliarse utilizando scripts personalizados en lenguaje C#.
