PREVENT – Preventive Check of All Industrial Networks (1+ days)

We recommend preventive network inspections once per year to avoid unplanned downtime.

• inspection of selected critical or all networks
• measurement of multiple communication types (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, CAN, AS-i, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP)
• identification of risks and weak points

Prevention is cheaper than unplanned production downtime.

Measurement Reports

All one-time measurement options include delivery of a service report containing a description of the situation, a list of stations in the network, measured signals and values, alerts about undesirable phenomena, topology (Profinet only), details of the performed measurement, and, where applicable, basic recommendations for improving the network condition.
Upon request, we can prepare a detailed paid report including an in-depth analysis of the identified problem and possible solutions.

For customers in the region, no travel costs are charged. For more distant locations, travel expenses are billed according to the current rate.

Requirements for AS-i Network Analysis

It is ideal if someone from your operations team (programmer, maintenance technician) is present during the measurement to help us quickly navigate the machinery, locate cabinets, stop the machine if needed, etc.

We must connect an analyzer to the AS-i bus network, usually directly to the signal wires. During this step, AS-i communication may briefly drop out, so we will ask you to stop the line for a moment before the measurement.

Network measurement is best performed while the machine is running, when network quality may be affected by electromagnetic interference from motors, drives, and power circuits. If this is not possible, we can measure the network during downtime, after working hours, or on weekends.

No problem. During the same scheduled visit, we can also measure PROFIBUS and PROFINET. We will bring both testers with us. You will pay only for one day of AS-i network measurement.
