Cscape 10 – application development software for Horner PLC HMI controllers

Cscape 10 is a software development environment for configuration, programming, and visualization of applications on Horner PLC HMI panels. It supports devices from the Micro OCS, XL, XL Prime, and Canvas series.

Key features of Cscape 10:

• Configuration of Horner PLC HMI devices – setup of built-in and external I/O modules, communication ports and industrial protocols (e.g. Ethernet, Modbus, CANopen, CsCAN).
• Control logic programming – supports IEC 61131-3 languages (Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block, etc.), with an intuitive drag & drop editor and debugging tools.
• HMI screen design – visualization design using predefined graphical objects: trends, bar charts, XY and scatter graphs, recipe tables, alarm views, and video playback.
• Extended symbol library – over 4,000 scalable SVG vector icons, categorized by industry (e.g. food processing, chemical, HVAC).
• Customizable user interface – clear panel-based layout with flexible workspace arrangement based on developer preferences.
• Project backup and management – easy project backup creation, version management, and import / export between devices.
• Integrated HMI preview – enables direct testing of HMI screens within the Cscape environment without downloading to the device.
• Advanced features for the Canvas series – full support for multi-touch control (gestures: swipe, pan, zoom), animations, video playback, and processing of large datasets.

• RAM: min. 4 GB (8 GB recommended)
• Storage: min. 1 GB free disk space
• Internet: required only for license activation

Availability:

• Cscape 10 is available free of charge to all Horner PLC HMI controllers.
• Trial mode: 30 days after installation. This is used to try out Cscape - the only restriction is that users cannot register licenses for feature extensions (WebMI, MQTT, Enhanced IEC, etc.) during this time. After 30 days, registration or uninstallation of Cscape is required.
• Registered mode: to log in, you must enter the email and password from a valid account on the https://hornerautomation.eu/my-account/ website.
