Wireless PROFIBUS
PROFIBUS can be transmitted wirelessly either via fibre optics or radio. Fibre optic transmission boasts minimal delay but requires accurate setup and direct visual contact of optical modules (the fibre optic link must not be disturbed).
As regards radio PROFIBUS transmission, we offer solutions from the company Schieldknecht AG. They operate using the frequencies of 869 MHz and 2.4 GHz Bluetooth. This functionality and a number of the company's patents testify to Schieldknecht AG's superior quality of its PROFIBUS radio transmission products for industrial and non-industrial deployment.

The DATAEAGLE Compact 3000 is designed for installation on the DIN rail in control cabinets. It features the IP20 protection code and a built-in two-port switch.

The DATAEAGLE X-treme 3000 is designed for installation in harsh environments where the temperature ranges from -20° C to +60°C. The series features the IP65 protection code. It doesn't include the built-in two-port switch. Modules are mounted on the wall.
