  • Are you installing and commissioning a new CANbus / CANopen / DeviceNet network?
  • Is your network experiencing occasional failures?
  • Do you want to check the quality of your CANbus / CANopen / DeviceNet communication?
  • Do you want to prevent unexpected network failures?
  • Are you about to have a production line delivered from a supplier? Would you like us to check the quality of their work?
  • Have you acquired a second-hand production line from abroad? Do you want to check its CANbus / CANopen / DeviceNet network's quality?

We offer analysis and measurement of your CANbus / CANopen / DeviceNet networks using a cutting-edge CANbus analyser.

We'll help you diagnose and, if possible, locate and fix faults on your CANbus network, for example interference, voltage drops, faulty terminating resistors and wiring faults. Our diagnostics will improve your network's stability and prevent unexpected failures.

Network diagnostics are part and parcel of annual preventative maintenance of your production lines.

A seemingly functional CAN / CANopen network may have hidden faults.

What are the benefits of regular diagnostics?

  • Using all measured values, we'll create a detailed PDF report in English for you (if requested we can provide a Czech translation). The report will include:
    • Information about the measurement site (name and description of the measured segment)
    • General information about the measured network
    • LiveList – a list of all the node stations taking part in communication on the network
    • Signal strength from all available node stations
    • Oscilloscopic images for all available node stations
    • Information about detected errors on the physical level
    • Detailed graphs showing the signal on all stations
    • Assessment of the network and recommendations for improving the network's operability

What do we need to be able to carry out CAN / CANopen / DeviceNet network diagnostics?

  • The presence of an employee familiar with the measurement site during the actual measurement (No training in how to use the tester can be given during the measurement.)
  • At least one available PG port for each segment for connecting an analyser or a connection point in the form of terminal blocks (The absence of this port doesn't enable a segment to be measured while the production line is in operation.).
  • CAN or CANopen protocol

Price for CAN Diagnostics

The quoted price includes a maximum of 7 hours of CANbus / CANopen diagnostics performed at a customer's site (i.e. one company address), plus travel. The price includes an unlimited number of reports created, depending on the complexity of the network. The travel is 10 CZK/km (excl. VAT).
