The control of the relay channels via the web server can be done either manually or automatically. The automatic control of the relay channels can be set up, for example, in response to an undesired event in the PROFIBUS network (loss of a MASTER station, repeat requests, sync messages, etc.). This function can be used in cases where the system automatically triggers devices such as warning beacon, system backup, backup power supply, etc. in response to errors in the PROFIBUS network.

Each relay has a switching contact with a load capability of up to 5 A - 230 VAC. The relay contact status (on/off) is indicated by LEDs on the front of the module. The maximum contact resistance is 300 mOhm (including connectors). The configured settings are saved and activated after restart or power on.
