After connecting the USB cable to the computer, you install the virtual COM port and select a free COM port under which the Omron PLC will be available. The length of the USB-CN226 cable cannot be extended. If you need a longer cable, choose the FS-CIF11 type, which supports communication with PLCs up to 2km.
